    When you mentioned people not using common sense and logic it resonated with me on quite a deep level. I am currently really struggling with my mental health and I am scared out of my wits, hoping that being a house husband is something that Is something I am allowed to be instead of a bread winner. Had alot of depression and dark thoughts, feeling that I am not a "man". Thank you for your video's.

    I would love to have the possibility to watch your and / or Tony Attwood's Videos in my mother tongue, which is not English.... Subtitles would be great, to better understand what you want us to say. Is there any instance on RUclips which can make this possible? I am asking you, since you are content creator... All the best and nice wishes from Austria, I also have been late diagnosed with 27 and it was confirmed when I turned 33. Try to focus on your strengths, p.e. your special interest, if you have found it already. Best wishes from Austria :-)

      Thanks for reaching out. I think there is a way of enabling subtitles in other languages. I havent yet explored that yet. I didnt realise i was reaching other countries. I am also quite active on facebook. If you search for aspieneil i have a group and a page. Id love to see you over there if you fancy it.

    Firstly very well done to you all on your mini adventure. Snowdonia weather can be very unpredictable and the terrain isn't easiest at the best of times. The Minors and Pyg tracks are pretty steep in parts. if you decide to have another go try the Llanberis path, when you get to the top and if the little ones are tired you can always get the train back down. ATB. Micki.

    • @AspieNeil
      @AspieNeil 5 лет назад

      Thankyou for your comment. I was thinking of trying that path next time. I havent yet decided lol. But the train would be welcome for them im sure. Unless they want to be able to say they have walked up and down. Time will tell i guess.

    Watch your previous video "I am so proud of myself" you have to get back to this kind of motivation. Although Danny was there providing support you did it yourself and you said you had a good time and a laugh. You have to do this on a regular basis. Think back to how the positive vibes started to conquer the negative vibes. It is only a start but the positive vibes will give you strength and motivation.

    It is a worrying and stressful time when family and friends are ill, however, you have to put your mental health first by keeping up motivation and momentum. Probably and hopefully, your friend and gran will recover and return to full health. You have allowed their illness to destroy the motivation and momentum you had achieved when doing your walks. Six weeks since your last walk has made the hill you have to climb much steeper. Justin says that it is good to do these video blogs regularly but you say that you are not sure. Why what is the alternative? You say "There are a lot of people in worse situations than I am in" I expect there is not a queue to swap places with you. You say "I wish to help other people", you have to help yourself first in order that you have the strength to help other people. Many people are willing to help and offer advice but mental health is very lonely and the solution can only come from within. What happened to your live streams? Your streams allowed you to share your interests and in return allow your mind to be motivated and diverse. Mental health is a battle a very personal battle that you have to turn negative thinking into positive thinking

    Neil, the fact that you found the motivation to vlog is a massive step in the right direction, so give yourself some kudos for that. Give yourself a break. Take one day at a time and don’t feel bad for not feeling motivated. Hope your friend is healing well and it’s sounds to me that you’ve done plenty. ❤️ Your Gran is being looked after and it’s the hardest thing for anyone to process when a close loved one is ill. Sounds like she’s on the mend so that’s fantastic. Give yourself a day or two to recharge. Much respect to you. xxx

    What about trying the walk without holding a camera and without monitoring your heart rate? Both these actions are keeping the thought of your anxieties at the front of your mind. Instead, when walking try and take in the surroundings, look at the world, allow the sun to make you feel good rather than being filmed and monitored. I know your therapist said to record and monitor heart rate but do what you want without being instructed. The walk should not be a chore it should be mind therapy. During your walk you said "I cannot do this" but you had already done it. As you also said you have allowed yourself to get like this and giving in to your feelings. You have done what you are trying to achieve but you are allowing your mind to say that you cannot do it when in fact you have done it

    Hi Neil, hope you are doing ok, it's Victoria aka Niamh from facebook again. Thank you for this video on meltdowns this has gave me amazing insight and knowledge. One of my daughters Brigid has aspergers she is 22 and has terrible meltdowns. It is very frightening for her and us when they happen as she loses control both physically and verbally, she often smashes up a lot of stuff in the house but she just can't help it. Your video is so informative and I think you are amazing to post these personal videos to help others , they will be useful to people with ASD and their family and friends. Again thank you for this and just to say I loved your live stream on facebook a couple of nights ago with Corrine , you guys are so entertaining , take care Neil , love to you ,Corrine and your family xx
